Established in 1974 by Mr. N. Subramanian, Tirupur Pandit Hosiery Mills Pvt. Ltd. has grown from a modest family business into one of India's trusted knitwear manufacturers and exporters. Today, we are a Three-Star Government Recognized Export House, ISO 9001 certified, serving leading apparel brands across North America, Europe, and other global markets.

KNITTING
Fabrics are produced from yarn using a network of connected loops, in both warp and weft knitting techniques. Our knitting division is equipped with hi-tech machinery from Germany, Taiwan, and Italy.

Tirupur Pandit Hosiery Mills was founded with a simple vision and a handful of sewing machines. What began as a modest manufacturing unit has today grown into one of India's fully vertically integrated apparel manufacturers, serving customers across the world.
The journey was never easy. There were years of working 18 to 20 hours a day, taking calculated risks, overcoming uncertainties, and constantly reinvesting in the business. Every milestone was achieved through determination, hard work, and an unwavering belief that quality and trust would always create lasting relationships.
Coming from a family rooted in agriculture, this journey holds an even deeper meaning. The very land where our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility stands today was once where my father cultivated cotton. Today, that same soil has come full circle—transforming cotton into world-class garments that are proudly worn across the globe.
Throughout this journey, one principle has remained unchanged: business must always be conducted with honesty, fairness, and respect. These values have earned us the trust of our customers, employees, suppliers, and partners over decades.
As one of the early pioneers of Tirupur's knitwear industry, I have always believed that true success is measured not only by growth, but by the positive impact we create for our people, our community, and the generations that follow.

For more than 20 years, I have been privileged to lead and grow our family business while carrying forward the values established by my father. After completing my studies in International Business Management in the United Kingdom, I returned with a vision of combining global business practices with the strong ethical foundation on which Pandit Mills was built.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with customers across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and other international markets. Every decision we make is guided by one principle—building long-term partnerships rather than pursuing short-term gains. We believe that trust, consistency, and transparency create relationships that last for decades.
Equally important are the people within our organization. I strongly believe that a company's greatest strength is its workforce. By creating a culture of respect, empowerment, and teamwork, we continue to build an environment where people enjoy coming to work and take pride in what they create.
Mrs J Nandhini
Coming from a strong textile background and a graduate in Fashion Technology, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise, practical insight, and operational excellence to the company.
In addition to her textile education, she also holds a degree in Interior Design, reflecting her creative mindset and attention to detail. Known for her strong work ethic, forward-thinking approach, and exceptional common sense, she believes that robust systems and processes are the foundation of sustainable growth. She is passionate about building an organization that is efficient, scalable, and driven by continuous improvement.
Since joining the company in 2023, she has been leading the Operations and Administration functions, playing a pivotal role in streamlining processes and strengthening the company's day-to-day operations. Her commitment, leadership, and willingness to go the extra mile have made her an integral part of the organization's continued success.
Together with Jothimanikandan, she is dedicated to preserving the company's proud 50-year legacy while driving innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, ensuring the business reaches even greater heights in the decades to come.
A Journey of Excellence
The Inception
Founded by Mr. N. Subramanian with a modest capital. Tirupur Pandit Hosiery Millss began its operations with a vision to deliver quality garments, laying the foundation for a family-owned legacy.
Global Expansion
Expanded horizons beyond domestic borders. We began exporting to major European markets including the UK, Denmark, France, Germany, and Italy, establishing trust with international buyers.
Scaling Operations
Achieved a major milestone in infrastructure growth. Expanded to over 2,500 machines and a workforce of 4,500 skilled laborers. Established a dedicated sampling unit with 100 machines.
Certifications & Status
Recognized as a Three-Star Export House by the Government of India. Achieved ISO 9001 certification, cementing our commitment to quality management systems.
Green Energy Initiatives
Invested in renewable energy with the installation of two high-performance NEG Micon windmills in Kudimangalam. Adopted Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology in our dyeing units.
Vertically Integrated Leader
Today, with an annual turnover of $20 Million USD, we are a fully vertically integrated company—from knitting and dyeing to finishing—serving global brands across the USA, Europe, and Mexico.
